Bellator 72 full fight card and predictions

Bellator 72 is going down as I type this, and so far I’ve 0-1 on my picks and looking like I’m gonna go 0-2, come on Moss! Dammit, Moss just verbally submitted. I’m 0-2. This is a gonna be a slaughter for me. Below are my picks, in Green as usual. Put yours in the comments section.

Welterweight United States Bryan Baker vs France Karl Amoussou Welterweight tournament final
Bryan Baker and Karl Amoussou are fighting for the chance to face the WW champ. Expect a slow start and then bang! I’m hoping these guys lay it all on the line and don’t try to pay it safe with the next fight in mind. Bryan Baker has heavy hands, Karl has good judo and solid stand up. It’s a tough call again, I’m leaning towards Bryan Baker. Bryan Baker by TKO/KO.

Welterweight United States Rudy Bears vs England Paul Daley
This fight makes absolutely no sense to me, none. Paul Daley made weight, so he’s won one fight already, good for him. Now I hope Rudy Bears TKO/KO’s him in the 1st 30 seconds. My pick is Rudy Bears or anyone fighting Paul Daley, always, all day.

Welterweight Lithuania Marius Žaromskis vs United States Waachiim Spiritwolf
This will be the 3rd fight between Marius and Waachiim, the first was a  NC, the second ended with Waachiim receiving a cut that stopped the fight in the opening minutes and this will be the final fight that we are hoping will be a full fight with a clear winner. Expect one hell of a war. Spiritwolf is tough as nails, and fun to watch. I’m gonna go with Marius Zaromskis by TKO/KO but Spiritwolf by Decision is a good possibility.

Light Heavyweight United States Tim Carpenter vs United States Travis Wiuff Light Heavyweight tournament semifinal
Tim Carpenter looked good in his last fight and Travis Wiuff surprised the hell out of me. I think Wiuff’s experience will be the deciding factor. Travis Wiuff by TKO/KO.

Light Heavyweight United States Emanuel Newton vs Slovakia Attila Vegh Light Heavyweight tournament semifinal
This is a hard one to call. Emmanuel Newton looked good in training (at Reign Training Center) and Attilla Vegh is always tough. I’m gonna go with the hometown guy, my hometown of So Cal. Emmanuel Newton by decision.

Welterweight United States Ben Saunders vs United States Brian Warren
Brian Warren.

Heavyweight United States Chris Barnett vs United States Tom Sauer

Welterweight United States Raul Amaya vs United States Kenny Moss
Kenny Moss.

Featherweight United States Matt McCook vs United States Shanon Slack
Shanon Slack.

Featherweight United States Paul Barrow vs United States Jason Carapelluci

Welterweight United States Ryan DeRocher vs United States Julien Williams
DeRocher of course.

That’s it!
