Fedor vs. Pedro Rizzo? Really?
Fedor is fighting Pedro Rizzo. It’s a fact. It’s about to happen in a few hours. Do you care? I don’t aside from it being a MMA fight, I don’t care about the outcome as far as the 2 fighters are concerned, I care as far as two guys fighting to entertain the fans. Fedor, Shmmedor vs. Pedro shmmRizzo doesn’t matter to me. I will watch if possible, just to see some HW’s do their thing. I still hold Fedor up as a great fighter, a legend but he’s not relevant in the MMA world thanks to his wonderful Management and the M-1 Global Organization.
It doesn’t really matter to each of the fighters in the long run. So Fedor wins, so what? It doesn’t help him in the rankings, in any relevant title hunts or in facing higher level competition. On the flip side, Pedro wins, it’s a bit better for him. He won’t have instant relevance in the HW landscape, but he will have a payday and the chance at bigger fights in the future. If he loses, which most people are betting on, who cares…he’s been inactive for 2 years, not to mention his life issues.
I guess I got to give a prediction here, I’m gonna have to go with Fedor, only because he’s been training actively and Pedro hasn’t. Who you got and can any of you get Russian TV?
