Tito Ortiz to Fight Rashad Evans at UFC 133

The match has been set.

As I offered earlier, one of the top Light Heavyweights with a recent fight who took little damage has agreed to step up and face Suga Rashad Evans at UFC 133 in Philadelphia.

The Original Tito Ortiz.

After originally turning the fight down, and Lyoto Machida having difficulty committing, Ortiz looked at the schedule necessary (two weeks of training, one week of PR, according to Ortiz) and made the call.

This isn’t the first time the two have fought. Ortiz and Evans fought to a unanimous draw in 2007, after Ortiz was penalized a point for holding the fence in the second round.

Now we’ll all have a chance to watch them settle it live August 6th in Philadelphia at UFC 133, just like former Evans opponents for this match, Jon Jones and Phil Davis.
